Mads Graue is a Melbourne based photographic artist who primarily works with DSLR and 35mm Black and white film photography. Mads holds a Bachelor of creative arts, majoring in photography from Deakin University. Mads creates art full time whilst also working in the retail industry.

An important theme surrounding Mads work is her life experiences in particular mental obstacles that she faces throughout her life. Mads work also frequently convey’s her thoughts as a womens rights advocate including destroying societal norms surrounding the LGBT community. She expresses these ideas and concepts through her photographic art, and finds that fine art prints to be a perfect reflection of the ever changing world that surrounds us.

Mads work as been described to be unique, emotionally evoking and confronting. Mads takes these comments as compliments, she aims to create work that makes her audience think heavily about their past experience’s as well as maintaining a relatable theme throughout.
